Urban Legend | Charlie Noonan

Charlie Noonan

"Charlie Noonan is an amateur folk writer who traveled throughout the South and Southwest of the United States during the early 20th century to collect supernatural stories. According to his wife, Ellie, Charlie heard a strange story from an Oklahoma farmer about a strange woman who lived alone on her isolated land. The farmer claimed that the woman was not a woman at all, but there must be something else, something hidden from her true nature just below her hood and she was never seen without a big dog by her side. Noonan seems interested enough to try to find her and take a trip to investigate the woman. But, he was never seen again. "

"Ellie Noonan was later contacted by a Tulsa pawnshop owner remembering that she had read about the disappearance of her husband in the paper, after finding her husband's name engraved on the camera that was sold to him by a traveler. The owner of the pawnshop returned the camera, and Mrs. Noonan has a film in the camera and hopes to find clues about her husband's whereabouts. This is the only photo available. Unfortunately, no one knows the location of the place, nor the name of the farmer who told her husband about this story recorded in the Noonan record. "

However, further investigation revealed that this was just an urban myth. There is no folktale called Charlie Noonan and there are no records of any strange events. This is just an interesting story created by someone on the internet, inspired by the scary photos above. Below the close up for the photos above.
